A universal sports ground has appeared at the Vitebsk Regional Sports Medicine Dispensary

Yesterday, an opening ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere. The event was attended by regional and city authorities, the leadership of the Representative Office of the National Olympic Committee in the Vitebsk region, and, of course, the athletes themselves.

Deputy Chairman of the regional executive committee Oleg Matskevich thanked the builders and everyone involved in this pleasant event, and noted the importance that the authorities and personally the head of the region Alexander Kosinets attach to strengthening the health of the population, which is also facilitated by the commissioning of this facility.

Having received numerous gifts from honored guests, the chief physician of the dispensary, Irina Derkach, emphasized that the opening of the facility will help create conditions that allow medical professionals to provide proper support for the training of athletes in various sports, their recovery and rehabilitation, and to use modern methods in training and competition processes. The most modern material and technical base is currently being created, and new equipment is being acquired, which the attendees could see for themselves during the tour of the dispensary.

By the way, the new facility will be available not only for top-class athletes but also for ordinary residents of the city and enterprise teams of the regional center. It is favorably distinguished by the fact that after physical exertion, one can immediately rest and recover, as the dispensary has a sauna, a swimming pool, and a gym, and various physiotherapy methods are used, which are necessary for rehabilitation and increasing the body's reserve capabilities. So, one wants to believe that this universal facility (and there is a shortage of such facilities in Vitebsk today) will not be empty.
