The water level in rivers and lakes is rising in Vitebsk, Gorodok, and three districts of the region
Water levels have risen in Vitebsk, Gorodok, Liozno, Sennno, and Shumilino districts, as reported by the Vitebsk Regional Emergency Situations Ministry Department.
"Monitoring of the hydrological situation continues in the Vitebsk region. In the village of Babinovichi, Liozno district, on March 27, due to the rising water level in Lake Zelenskoye, a private household, two outbuildings, and a land plot of 240 sq.m. were flooded. Water levels are also rising in Vitebsk, Gorodok, Sennno, and Shumilino districts," the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted.

An unfavorable hydrological situation is developing in the Daugava River basin – the water level continues to rise. Polotsk and Verkhnedvinsk Emergency Situations Ministry Departments have been put on high alert.
