The Grebnitsky Estate in the Ushachi District was sold at auction for the base value
The involvement in economic circulation and restoration of historical and cultural heritage sites is under special state control.
The Grebnitsky Estate, located in the agro-town of Orekhovno, 5 km from Ushachi, on the shore of a picturesque lake, was sold at an electronic auction.
The estate was sold for the base price to the sole participant of the auction – a resident of Minsk.
The estate has a long history. The Grebnitsky family moved here at the end of the 18th century and became the true masters of the place – they laid out a park, built a stone manor house and a Uniate church.
In addition to the manor house, a blacksmith shop and a stud farm were built, there was its own brewery and a modern steam mill. The Grebnitskys also launched linen production at a factory; their products were distinguished by high quality and amazing durability.
In 1917, the Grebnitskys left Orekhovno. Subsequently, a hospital was located here, and later a school. In recent years, the school was moved to a new building, and the old estate began to decay.
In 2020, the estate was already sold – at an auction for the base price, it was purchased by a private agricultural enterprise from the Minsk region.
The plans included recreating the former interiors of the building, collecting artifacts for a museum, and setting up a cafe for visitors to the complex.
However, unfortunately, the enterprise failed to realize its plans, and in 2024, the estate returned to state ownership.
The Committee hopes that the new owner will succeed in implementing their plans and restoring the estate.
According to the terms of sale, the restoration of the object is given a period of no more than three years.
For March, the committee has put up for sale other real estate objects with the status of historical and cultural value.
This is the Carmelite monastery located in the town of Glubokoye; the manor house in the village of Goloshevo, Tolochin district, and the former Bernardine monastery in the town of Dubrovno.
All objects are offered for sale at auction with an initial price equal to one base value.
In total, since the beginning of the year, the committee has held 9 successful auctions. The state budget has been replenished by 375 thousand rubles.
