The Ushachi Vegetable Drying Plant allocated Br3.2 billion for the creation of a mineral water bottling workshop.

September 10, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The Ushachi Vegetable Drying Plant is completing the implementation of an investment project to create a production facility for bottling mineral water and producing non-alcoholic beverages. The director of the enterprise, Elena Rusak, informed a BELTA correspondent about this. In early October of the current year, the installation of equipment for bottling mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages with a capacity of 3 thousand bottles per hour will begin in the renovated workshop. The water will be bottled in plastic bottles with a capacity of 0.33 liters to 2 liters and will go on sale by the beginning of the next summer season. It is expected that at least 20 people will be hired due to the opening of the new workshop. The cost of the project is estimated at Br8.4 billion, of which Br3.2 billion has already been mastered. Two years ago, the plant acquired an artesian well of mineral water, which in its composition is sulfate-sodium-calcium with additives of magnesium and chlorine. It is analogous to the therapeutic waters of the Truskavets sanatorium and has no analogues in Belarus. Previously, water from this well was sold under the "Vechele" trademark. In the Vitebsk region, six sites have been recognized as promising for the extraction and industrial bottling of underground waters. According to scientific research, the reserves and composition of the waters allow for the creation of drinking water bottling enterprises in Dokshitsy, Begoml, the villages of Velevshchina (Lepel district), Azino (Polotsk district), and the settlements of Rossony and Ushachi. Currently, nine enterprises in the region are engaged in the extraction and bottling of mineral water. -0-
