An oil residue delayed coking unit is being built in Novopolotsk

Over two hundred employees of Novopolotsk OJSC "NefteZavodMontazh" and 14 of its subcontractors are involved in the construction of a delayed coking unit for oil residues at OJSC "Naftan". There are only eight such units in the world, and by the end of 2018, another one is planned to be launched in the Vitebsk region. It will allow for deeper oil refining up to 92-93% and significantly increase productivity.

"NefteZavodMontazh" is a specialized general contracting organization that performs all types of mechanical installation and construction work and is involved in projects in the petrochemical and chemical industries.

The main customer today is "Naftan", with which general contracting agreements have been concluded for 9 new construction projects, the most important of which are the delayed coking unit for solid oil residues and the AT-8 primary oil refining unit. Almost all of OJSC "NefteZavodMontazh"'s resources are concentrated on these projects. And the scope of work is truly impressive. For example, in the reconstruction of AT-8, which will significantly reduce "Naftan"'s energy consumption, over 554 billion non-denominated rubles have already been mastered, 619 units of new equipment have been installed, and almost 3 thousand square meters of territory have been landscaped. The construction of the delayed coking unit has passed the halfway point, with almost 700 billion rubles mastered.

Specialists from "NefteZavodMontazh" also work abroad, in Turkmenistan, at the largest potash salt deposit in Central Asia, the Garlyk deposit, where Belarusians are building a mining and processing plant.

The key to success is high technologies, continuous modernization, on which more than 20 billion rubles are spent annually, and a rather narrow specialization.
