In 2012, the volume of exports from the Vitebsk region of cable products, power units, fittings, PVC skirting boards, and veterinary drugs increased.

Overall exports of goods have almost doubled compared to last year, reaching over 3373 million dollars. In terms of this indicator and the size of the positive balance of goods, excluding oil and oil products and republican organizations, Vitebsk region has the best performance in the country.

New types of products have also entered the foreign market, including light roofing glass fabrics from JSC "Polotsk-Steklovolokno", metal fire doors from "Belsplata", dry demineralized whey from Verkhnedvinsk dairy plant, and furniture made of natural wood from "Fabrika EkoDrevMebel". In total, there are 707 organizations among the Dvina region's exporters.
