The issuance of entry visas to certain categories of citizens will cease at Minsk Airport from September 1
July 19, Minsk /BelTA/. From September 1, the issuance of entry visas to foreign citizens from countries with diplomatic missions and consular offices of Belarus will be suspended at Minsk National Airport. This was reported to BelTA correspondent by the State Border Committee of Belarus.
They will have to apply for entry visas at the diplomatic missions and consular offices of Belarus in their countries.
An exception will be made only for those citizens who arrive in Belarus as part of official delegations at the invitation of Belarusian government bodies, as well as in connection with the severe illness or death of a close relative or family member, upon presentation of official documents confirming such circumstances. "They, like citizens of states where there are no diplomatic missions of our country, will still be able to obtain a visa at the airport," the State Border Committee noted. -0-
