An electronic system for tracking currency purchases will be introduced in Belarus
August 30, Minsk /Corr. BELTA/. An electronic system for tracking currency purchases will be introduced in Belarus no later than October 2011. This was announced today by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting on the socio-economic development of the country, reports BELTA correspondent.
The President instructed the National Bank to introduce an electronic system for tracking currency purchases by passport, individually for each buyer, as it exists in many countries around the world, including Russia, no later than October. "After everyone who needs this currency grabs it, figuratively speaking, the exchange rate will strengthen to equilibrium. This has happened in all states. And we will ensure this. We have the resources for this," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
According to him, the entire process of reaching an equilibrium exchange rate will not take much time.-0-
