In Belarus, all types of state scholarships for students have been increased by 11%

August 18, Minsk /BELTA/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 425 "On increasing the amounts of all types of state scholarships for students" on August 17, the press service of the Belarusian leader informed BELTA. The 11% increase in scholarship amounts will allow setting their level for university students from Br113.8 thousand to Br182.1 thousand, and for students of institutions providing secondary specialized and vocational education from Br95.5 thousand to Br152.8 thousand. The recalculation of scholarships will be carried out from June 1, 2010. The decree was adopted in order to further enhance the social protection of students.-0-
