Housing accessibility for large and young families will be increased in Belarus - P. Grushnik
August 16, Minsk /Elena Prus - BELTA/. The National Program for Demographic Security of Belarus for 2011-2015 provides for significant measures to ensure housing accessibility for large and young families, as housing conditions are often decisive when making a decision to increase the family. This was announced today at a press conference by the First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Petr Grushnik, BELTA correspondent reports.
This involves providing financial assistance from the state to large families in repaying debts on preferential loans obtained for the construction (reconstruction) or acquisition of residential premises, as well as increasing the amount of financial support provided by the state to young and large families in repaying debts on loans issued by banks for the construction (reconstruction) or acquisition of residential premises on general terms.
Answering a question from a BELTA correspondent, Petr Grushnik said that the demographic security program plans to repay debts on issued preferential loans in the amount of 75% of the debt amount for families with three minor children, and 100% for families with four minor children. The development of a draft of the relevant regulatory legal act is planned for 2012.
As for financial support for young and large families in repaying debts on housing loans issued by banks on general terms, it will amount to 40 living wage budgets for families upon the birth (adoption) of the first child or with one minor child, 80 living wage budgets for the second child or with two minor children, 100 living wage budgets for the birth of the third and subsequent children.-0-
