Early voting for the referendum on the Constitution has begun in Belarus. It will be held in Belarus from February 22 to February 26 inclusive. Voters who will not be able to vote on the referendum day, February 27, can vote in advance.

5510 polling stations have been established in Belarus. In the Brest region - 883, Vitebsk region - 714, Gomel region - 977, Grodno region - 608, Minsk region - 929, Mogilev region - 707, Minsk city - 692. 217 polling stations are located in sanatoria, health resorts, rest homes, hospitals and other healthcare organizations providing inpatient medical care, 12 are in military units.

Polling stations are open from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00. No official confirmation of the reasons why a person cannot vote on the main day is required. Voters must have their passport with them. A ballot is also issued upon presentation of a military ID (for conscripts), an official ID of a state body (organization) employee, or a driver's license. It is also possible to vote with a pension certificate, a disability certificate (if it contains a photograph), or a student ID. If a voter has lost their passport or it has been stolen, they must bring a certificate from the internal affairs bodies confirming the citizen's identity to the polling station.

One question is put to the referendum: do you accept the amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus?

Referendum participants will have to mark their choice in one of two squares, "for" and "against" respectively. Any mark can be placed in one of the squares. If a mark is placed in both squares or in neither, the ballot will be considered invalid.

The referendum is conducted by universal, free, equal, and secret voting. Citizens who have reached the age of 18 have the right to participate in it. Each referendum participant votes in person.

The referendum is considered valid if more than half of the citizens included in the voting lists have participated in it.
