In Belarus, the first-category tariff rate will be increased from Br250 thousand to Br260 thousand, or by 4%, starting from September 1 of the current year. This decision is stipulated in Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 767 of August 30 "On establishing the size of the first-category tariff rate for the remuneration of employees of budget organizations and other organizations receiving subsidies, whose employees are equated in remuneration to employees of budget organizations," the government's press service informed a BELTA correspondent. The adoption of this resolution will help increase the wage level of employees in the public sector, the press service noted.

The September increase in the first-category tariff rate is the third this year. To raise the wage level of employees in budget organizations and partially compensate for expenses caused by the growth of the consumer price index, it was increased from January 1 from Br225 thousand to Br240 thousand. From April 1, the first-category tariff rate for the remuneration of employees of budget organizations and other organizations receiving subsidies, whose employees are equated in remuneration to employees of budget organizations, was set at Br250 thousand.
