An information resource for the 2019 parliamentary elections has been launched in Belarus
The information resource CEC ELECTIONS-2019 (http://vybary2019.by), which will cover all the most important events of the campaign for the election of deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the seventh convocation, started its work on August 9.
The resource publishes the latest media news on the progress of the election campaign. It also features the first video address by the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission, Lidiya Yermoshina. In it, the head of the CEC, in particular, provides details on the procedure for nominating members to district election commissions, which must be formed no later than September 2, inclusive.
In addition, the resource provides information on each of the 110 electoral districts with a detailed description of their boundaries, data on the number of voters and the addresses of district election commissions, as well as materials related to the elections. Anyone can familiarize themselves with the calendar plan for the elections to the House of Representatives, CEC resolutions, information on observers sent to meetings of the Central Commission during the 2019 parliamentary elections, etc. As reported, the elections to the House of Representatives are scheduled for November 17, and to the Council of the Republic – for November 7.
