In the Beshenkovichi district, the republican campaign of the NGO "Belarusian Women's Union" "Historical Quest. Memory of the Heart" has been launched.
Representatives of the Vitebsk regional organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women" visited the district with a noble mission. It was on our Beshenkovichi land that the republican campaign of the NGO "BSW" "Historical Quest. Memory of the Heart" was launched, aimed at caring for the graves of parents who raised people who brought glory to the Republic of Belarus.
The event was attended by the chairperson of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Women's Union, Elena Martynova, her deputy, Irina Капшуль, members of the district organization of the Belarusian Women's Union, the chairperson of the district executive committee, Galina Unukovich, the deputy chairperson of the district executive committee, Tatyana Zhdanovich, and the head of the department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs of the district executive committee, Natalya Apanasенok. The deputy chairperson of the district executive committee, Gennady Filippenko, also participated in the event. Together, they improved the burial sites of the parents of our famous countrymen – sculptor Ivan Kazak and artist Anatoly Tkachenok.
At the city cemetery in the district center, volunteers improved the burial site of Ivan Kazak's mother and grandmother, and laid flowers at the monuments. They also worked at the grave of Anatoly Tkachenok's father, located at the cemetery near the village of Selishche (they painted the monument, the fence, and cleaned up last year's leaves).
