A new payment and cash center of RUP Vitebskenergo has been opened in Braslav
It became the fourteenth in the region. As Viktor Zhitkevich, Head of the Energy Sales Department of the State Production Association "Belenergo", who arrived at the opening ceremony of the SCSC, noted, this is the best indicator in the republic. There are 32 such centers in Belarus in total.
– The opening of the new settlement and cash service center is a continuation of the policy of the State Production Association "Belenergo" to improve the quality of service for citizens and legal entities, namely, to ensure the accessibility of connection to the energy system's power grids, transparency of relations between parties, and the implementation of information technologies, – emphasizes Viktor Viktorovich.
Previously, the Braslav District Production and Sales Unit of the "Energosbyt" branch was located in a small former residential building. It was difficult to create the necessary conditions for providing quality services to consumers here. Therefore, it was decided to reconstruct another, more suitable premises. Construction work began in July, and in three months the nondescript building was completely transformed externally – it became a decoration of the city street.
By the way, new SCSC centers were also previously opened for the grain growers' holidays in the capitals of "Dazhynak" – in Senno, Dubrovno, Verkhnedvinsk.
– And this time we are not breaking the tradition, – states Oleg Savinkov, Chief Engineer of the "Energosbyt" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo".
Visitors to the new cash and settlement center are greeted by a light display that provides reference information even without entering the premises. More detailed information can be obtained from an operator in the hall or by oneself. The cash and settlement center has implemented modern software, expanded communication channels, and installed devices for automatic subscriber notification and other technical means to provide all services at a high level. Here you can clarify contract calculations, make payments in cash or via a terminal using plastic cards, conclude and re-register an electricity supply contract, obtain a certificate, arrange for a payment benefit, submit an application for meter inspection, switch to a differentiated tariff, and connect electrical installations.
Necessary information is also posted on stands. The service hall also features a video panel and an information terminal that allows you to view all data independently using your personal account number. Samples of common static multi-tariff meters and low-voltage meter cabinets manufactured by RUP "Vitebskenergo" are also displayed here. Visitors have the opportunity to rate the quality of services provided.
It is also convenient that three divisions of the energy system (electrical networks, energy sales, and state energy and gas supervision) are located in one area.
– The service area of the cash and settlement center covers over 16 thousand subscribers and 593 settlements. Our region is attractive for living and recreation, new houses and dachas are being built, and people often contact us regarding connection to the electrical grid, so there are quite a few visitors to the cash and settlement center. It is important that they leave satisfied, – says Vyacheslav Salonin ko, head of the Braslav section of the cash and settlement center.
The opening of the cash and settlement center, according to Alexander Bodanin, Chairman of the Braslav District Executive Committee, has become a significant event for the city. The head of the region expressed gratitude to the energy workers for their contribution to energy saving, in particular, for the installation of energy-saving lamps.
The culmination of the ceremony was the symbolic handover of the key by the builders to the new owners, the cutting of a red ribbon, and the release of 14 blue balloons into the sky.
According to tradition, thuas were planted in front of the entrance to the RCC, and amateur artists performed scenes from the history of Braslav and invited the guests of the celebration to an ancient Belarusian dance.
