A new dental clinic has opened in Dokshytsy

В Докшицах открылась новая стоматологическая поликлиника

The solemn opening of the facility was attended by Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the Dokshitsy District Executive Committee Oleg Pinchuk, and Head of the Healthcare Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Yuri Derkach.

"This is a significant event for the Dokshitsy district. It is the result of the state policy pursued today in Belarus for the development of healthcare, and the work and attention of district and regional authorities to the issues of preserving and strengthening the health of our people," emphasized Vladimir Andreichenko.

With the commissioning of the polyclinic, the quality of life of local residents will significantly improve, and the building itself will become a decoration for the district center, is confident the Chairman of the House of Representatives.

According to Lyudmila Podgaiskaya, head of the dental department of the Dokshitsy Central District Hospital, the construction of the two-story new polyclinic building, connected by a gallery to the reconstructed prosthetics department, took about two years. Financing was carried out from the local budget. A total of about Br2.1 million was allocated, including Br429 thousand for the purchase of equipment. The polyclinic staff is almost fully staffed, and the range of services provided by it has been significantly expanded. To receive some of them, local residents will no longer have to go to dental institutions in Vitebsk or Minsk. This applies primarily to the manufacture of metal-ceramic and all-cast bridge dental prostheses.

During his familiarization with the facility, Yuri Derkach emphasized that not only residents of the Dokshitsy district but also the population of the nearby Krupki district of the Minsk region will be able to receive necessary assistance here. This issue is planned to be resolved in the near future.
