A forum of young leaders of the border regions of Belarus and Russia will be held in the Dubrovno district
Young leaders of organizations, enterprises, public associations, and deputies of the Dubrovno, Gorodok, and Liozno districts will take part in the event from the Belarusian side. From the Russian side – deputies, heads of districts of the region, and representatives of the youth parliament. "All delegates of the forum will visit the Rylenkі memorial complex, where they will take part in the BRSM patriotic project "Memory of the Heart". They will lay flowers at the memorial and form a heart shape from lit lamps," the regional committee of the youth organization noted.
The event opening will take place in the building of Dneprovskaya Manufaktura, one of the oldest Belarusian enterprises – a meeting with the district leadership in an open dialogue format, and the #IAmALeader training. Then, participants will visit the workshops and warehouses of the Dubrovno flax mill.
During the visit to the district historical and local lore museum, young people will leave their autographs on a porcelain plate with images of the flags of Belarus and Russia as a sign of the meeting. The item will be transferred to the museum's collection. The program will conclude with a concert by creative groups of the Dubrovno district and a summary of the results.
The Forum of Young Leaders of the Border Regions was organized by the Vitebsk regional committee of the BRSM in conjunction with the Smolensk regional organization of the Russian Youth Union, as well as the Dubrovno District Executive Committee and the District Council of Deputies.
