In Dubrovno, the focus is on the social sphere, with an emphasis on creating comfortable conditions for the life and development of children
The Governor emphasized that the region is paying close attention to the preparation of district centers for the regional "Dazhynki". "Only by concentrating finances can a district center be truly rebuilt, significantly updated, and modernized. We will continue this strategy in the Vitebsk region," said Nikolai Sherstnev. At the same time, it is evident that in Dubrovno, the focus is on the social sphere with an emphasis on creating comfortable conditions for the life and development of children. This is evidenced by the list of facilities that are being significantly updated and built from scratch. For example, on a vacant lot, work is in full swing on installing equipment at a modern playground. By the way, this facility is the most anticipated and closely monitored by the local children – as soon as the builders install another slide, it is immediately tested by strict little inspectors and their parents. Large-scale construction work has unfolded at Secondary School No. 1, kindergartens, and the art school.
"In the development of district centers, we must focus on children. This is our future. It is impossible to raise the younger generation by words alone. It is necessary to create conditions, starting from kindergarten, school, sports facility, music school, sports hall, etc. This is our task," the head of the region is convinced. Updated facilities in Dubrovno are already beginning to be commissioned – work on the bus station and some residential buildings has been completed. National ornamentation has appeared on some renovated buildings, which undoubtedly adorns the city and gives it its unique flavor. There is not much time left before the harvest festival (according to preliminary information, "Dazhynki" will be held at the end of September), so the builders should hurry.
There are particularly many complaints about the work of Orsha Construction Trust No. 18, which is carrying out major repairs and
modernization of the school, as well as the renovation of kindergartens. "We must definitely commission these facilities by September 1st, there are literally 20 days left. At the same time, the scope of work is enormous, and there are clearly not enough people working. Starting today, all measures will be taken to increase the number of employees and complete the entire scope of work within the established deadlines," the governor emphasized.
The head of the construction organization assured that everything will be as planned - the school and kindergartens will be commissioned on time. Nikolai Sherstnev added that in Dubrovno, previously unplanned work on landscaping the kindergarten territory, creating comfortable conditions in recreation areas (terraces, gazebos, canopies) will be additionally carried out. The central city square is also planned to be completed by the end of August. Repair work is also underway in healthcare, physical culture and sports, and trade facilities. The registry office will be located in the new premises (in the extension of the district executive committee building).
