Election pickets are held daily in Vitebsk

В ежедневном режиме проходят предвыборные пикеты в Витебске
The end of the working day, and in the Yug-7 microdistrict, a stream of buyers begins to gather at the Green shopping center. Here, we also meet participants of an agitation picket in support of several candidates for deputy. The right choice of place and time, a brightly decorated picket area, and a friendly attitude towards everyone have become the key to the active interest of the townspeople.

— I always go to the elections, I am a citizen of Belarus, and I care about the fate of my country! — says Olga Strelchik, a teacher at the Vitebsk City Center for Additional Education for Children and Youth, pausing for a couple of minutes, drawn in by the surrounding conversation. — I am a conscious person, I try to make informed decisions, manage my life, so I consider it important to participate in such political events. On the unified voting day, I want to give a chance to a person who, in my opinion, is worthy and has decided to obtain a deputy mandate.

Andrey Krotov, a trainee teacher at Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov, thoughtfully familiarizes himself with information about the contenders for people's deputies. Elections are historically a serious political event in the life of every state, and one must treat this accordingly, he is convinced:

— It is pleasant to realize that in the conditions of modern geopolitical challenges and shifts, our country preserves its electoral sovereignty — the foundation of the development of every state.
