In the final of the children's and youth ice hockey competition for the prizes of the President of the Republic of Belarus "Golden Puck", hockey players from Horadok will represent the Vitebsk region

Young players from Rossony, Horodok, Verkhnedvinsk, Orsha, and Vitebsk competed on the ice at the Vitebsk Sports Palace for the right to defend the honor of the Pridvinye region at the republican stage of the competition.

Following the tournaments in the senior age group of 1998–1999, the "Luch" team from Horodok became the best. Orsha's "Favorit" took the honorable second place. The ice team "Rossony Losi" fought with great perseverance for third place against the guys from Verkhnedvinsk. As a result of a series of penalty shootouts, "Dvina" managed to secure only the fourth position.

The leaders of the competition in various nominations were: Ivan Bykov from Horodok – "Best Scorer", his countryman Denis Laskov – "Best Defender", Vladislav Shuliko from Rossony – "Best Goalkeeper", Daniil Dankov from Orsha – "Best Forward". Thus, the "Luch" team will defend the honor of the Vitebsk region at the republican stage of the "Zolotaya Shapka" tournament. The finals of the competition will take place in Mogilev from March 19 to 23.
