Winners of the republican family competition "Master of the Village" were determined in Glubokoye
According to the results of the final meeting, the Molokov family, representing the Vitebsk region, took third place. The title "Master of the Village-2017" went to the Litvin family from the village of Leshnya, Kopyilsky district, Minsk region.
– This bright youth project has gained the image of an interesting and prestigious competition over 10 years, – says **Iosif Pachkovsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, Head of the District Agricultural Department**. – It started in Glubochina in May 2007 as a district initiative, but soon became republican. It is especially pleasant that in the юбилей year, the final stage of the competition is held in our district.
Chicken by the leg, horse by the harness
For a few hours, the central square of the city acquired a pronounced rural flavor. Axes were chopping, saws were ringing, horses were patiently waiting for the young owners to harness them to a cart and unharness them again, chickens were waiting for skillful housewives in multi-story houses.
Members of the jury, which included the winners of the title "Master of the Village-2016" Sergey and Yulia Adamovich, monitored the speed and correctness of the competition tasks. Penalty points were awarded for mistakes.
In the "business card" competition, families talked about themselves, demonstrated oratorical skills, artistry, and spoke about eternal values. They all called love and the desire to spend more time together as the main secret of their happiness and success, and compared children to a priceless treasure.
In this regard, the young couple from the agro-town of Bildyugi, Sharkovshchinsky district, were incredibly lucky. Ivan and Diana Molokov have four children. The eldest, Nikita, is 11 years old, Sofia is 6, and the twins Anna and Anastasia are three years old.
Fairy tale in Bildyugi style
Colleagues, cultural workers of the district, friends, relatives, as well as the head of OJSC "Zviranka" Petr Ananko, came to support the Molokov family. Ivan works as a machine operator in this farm, and Diana is a social worker at the territorial center for social services for the population.
The young couple managed to harness and unharness a horse in less than 3 minutes, and they also easily coped with the relay race. The jury members were impressed by the exhibition of family achievements, which included, in addition to awards, forged metal products – the owner's hobby, and aromatic treats from Diana, including cupcakes with the symbolism of the Sharkovshchina region.
But most of all, their presentation, made in the form of a fairy-tale performance, made an impression. If there were a nomination for "The Most Voluminous Decoration on Stage," first place would be guaranteed.
By the way, the family also distinguished themselves at the "Selyanskiy prysmaki" (Peasant Delicacies) competition. While everyone else decorated dishes with ruddy draniki (potato pancakes) with marinated mushrooms, olives, pieces of sweet pepper, and herbs, Ivan and Diana served treats without excessive decoration, emphasizing their unique delicate taste.
Rap about rural life
The Litvin family prepared an unusual business card. Vladimir, Victoria, and their 10-year-old daughter Veronica rapped, supplementing the musical performance with folk motifs. The Litvinovs often participate in amateur art activities, so they were confident on stage.
Victoria works as the head of the office of the Semezhevsky rural executive committee, Vladimir works for the organization "BetonBox" and part-time as a builder at OJSC "Semezhevo." Their personal subsidiary farm has a horse with a foal, a cow with a calf, bulls, chickens, and turkeys. The main prize of the project – a walk-behind tractor – is a much-needed gift for them.
In the jubilee year, a new tradition was born within the project – a friendly football match between the team of heads of participating families and the BRSM team. The contenders for the "Master of the Village" title won with a slight advantage.
Many contestants said they enjoy playing sports. The spouses Andrey and Tatyana Davydov confirmed these words by taking up kettlebells. The couple, who are both teachers, have a large personal subsidiary farm, over 40 ares of land. The couple took first place in the video contest "Best Rural Homestead."
Project: 10 Years Later
– Glubokoe is a city where amazing projects are born, which then rapidly gain popularity. The "Master of the Village" project is known far beyond the borders of our country, – says Andrey Belyakov, member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM). – Over 10 years, the "Master of the Village" project has managed to unite over 11 thousand young families from the Belarusian hinterland.
According to Vladimir Grakun, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus, the "Master of the Village" project contributes to raising the status of young families in rural areas, the prestige of agricultural professions, and allows instilling in children a love for their native land and teaching them to cherish folk traditions from an early age.
All finalists received certificates, cash certificates, and lawnmowers. The project prize-winners were awarded valuable gifts: a walk-behind tractor, a washing machine, and a refrigerator.
