In Glubokoye, after the reconstruction of the FOK, a swimming pool will appear

Reconstruction of the district sports and recreation center has begun in Glubokoye. After the completion of the work, a modern swimming pool will appear there, said Oleg Varsha, Deputy Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee.

The construction of a swimming pool building and the repurposing of the first floor of the existing center are planned, where showers, changing rooms, a sauna, a dry training hall, and a buffet will be located. The result should be a multifunctional facility for supporters of a healthy lifestyle. The construction cost is about Br4 million (Br1 million will be mastered this year). Currently, one of the most complex and expensive types of work is underway - the laying of bored piles along the perimeter of the building's foundation at a depth of 8 to 11 m.

"The pool will have four swimming lanes: three for adults, 25 m long, and one for swimming lessons and hydrotherapy procedures," Oleg Varsha said.

It is expected that the new pool will be available for training and competitions. When developing the design of the future building, specialists took into account the experience of sports and recreation centers opened in other districts of the Vitebsk region in recent years.
