According to Natalia Kochanova, all city improvement works should be carried out according to plan. Heads of organizations and institutions of various levels must constantly monitor order in their assigned territories. "There must be a clear system for establishing and maintaining order, so that there is no need to catch up later with subbotniks and other events. If there is a system, then there will be no questions from either people or local authorities - everyone will clearly understand their area of responsibility," noted the Head of the Presidential Administration.
Natalia Kochanova placed special emphasis on the importance of recycling secondary resources. About 2,000 containers for raw material collection have been installed in the district. According to local authorities, this is not enough - another 1,000 are needed. 300-350 tons of waste are removed from Polotsk daily. Almost all of it goes to the Biomekhzavod household secondary resources plant in Novopolotsk. "The issue of secondary resources is very important for the ecology of the region. In addition, their competent processing is a good source of income," said the Head of the Presidential Administration. Due attention must also be paid to maintaining order in the private housing sector - there are 8.1 thousand of them in Polotsk. According to local authorities, the private sector is almost entirely equipped with container sites, and another 10-20 sites need to be equipped. "Contracts must be concluded with the residents, and they must know when the transport for waste removal arrives and see what they are paying for," Natalia Kochanova pointed out.
We must not forget about the overall aesthetic appearance of Polotsk.
