In Gorodok, the monument to V.I. Lenin is being moved

Since June of this year, the "Gorodok Boiler and Heat Supply Enterprise" has been carrying out reconstruction work on the central square of Gorodok according to a developed project, which, along with other changes, includes the relocation of the V.I. Lenin monument.

On December 27-28, 2012, a survey of residents' opinions was conducted in the district with the question: "What is your attitude towards the possibility of relocating the V.I. Lenin monument from the central square of the city to another location?" The majority of respondents agreed to relocate the V.I. Lenin monument to the site near the music school.

Currently, the "Gorodok Boiler and Heat Supply Enterprise" is preparing a site for the installation of the monument on the territory of the Children's Art School, on the right side of the building. From 1957 to the 1990s, the district committee of the party was located in the school building.
