An aspiring avenger detained in Gorodok

В Городке задержали несостоявшегося мстителя

A 30-year-old villager was detained near the agricultural technical college in Horadok, who intended to deal with his former cohabitant. Now he faces 10 years of imprisonment.

In search of his girlfriend, a drunk repeat offender caused a scandal on the street and, in the presence of numerous witnesses, threatened a 17-year-old student with murder. He used a kitchen knife for effect.

The day before, he called his cohabitant, who is raising their common child, and promised to come for a showdown – to teach her how to raise the baby properly. The woman refused to talk to her drunk boyfriend. He has been repeatedly convicted of theft, carjacking, robbery, and other offenses. In 2014 alone, he was brought to administrative responsibility 9 times (!).

Maxim Zinovich, Deputy Prosecutor of Horadok District, says:

– After being detained near the college and sobering up (1.4 per mille of alcohol was found in his blood), the suspect could not recall the details of the incident. He claims to remember that he was coming from the village to his former cohabitant. But he himself does not understand where he got the knife and what the student had to do with it.

His girlfriend, upon learning of another criminal episode, came to the prosecutor's office herself and said that the man regularly called her with threats. On that day, fortunately, he could not find her at home – the owner was absent at the time the "educator" arrived.

A criminal case has been initiated for particularly malicious hooliganism. During the investigation, his actions regarding the expressed threat of murder will also be assessed. Given his extensive criminal past, the suspect may receive the maximum sentence.
