The settlement of Yezeryshcha in the Horadok district will receive new development through the opening of enterprises. This was announced today by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, during a ceremony dedicated to the opening of a new roadside service facility in the settlement of Yezeryshcha - a Belorusneft-Vitebskobleneftoprodukt gas station.

"Yezeryshcha is the gateway to Belarus from the northern direction. This is where guests get their first impression of the country. Currently, the impression is not the best, but we intend to develop this region and will create new enterprises in the settlement. The facility we are opening today is the first swallow. 12 people are employed here. In the future, we will create a multifunctional complex with a parking lot, a service station, and a tire fitting shop. We must create conditions for travelers to rest," said the head of the region.

The governor noted that small and medium-sized businesses should be created in the settlement, and the initiative of local residents is very appropriate here. "It is wrong to expect that people from afar will come to you and invest finances, creating good conditions for the local population. It would be great if among you, the residents of the settlement, there were enterprising people who would bring their ideas to the authorities. You have an interesting territory, and we plan to develop it," emphasized Nikolai Sherstnev.

Explaining the advantages of the facility already opened in Yezeryshcha, the director of the enterprise Belorusneft-Vitebskobleneftoprodukt, Alexander Kapshul, noted that in terms of new technologies, it is currently the most modern gas station in the Vitebsk region. "Given the proximity to the Russian border, a parking area for heavy trucks with 10 spaces has been equipped here; 2 buses can be accommodated. Places for caravanners are provided with connections for charging batteries and replenishing water, and there is a rest area with sports equipment," said the director.

DistinctiveA feature of the complex is the use of alternative energy sources. The building's heating is provided by heat pumps. A photovoltaic station with a capacity of 7.5 kW is also installed (on the canopy above the fuel dispensers). "The old container gas station has been here for over 15 years. In terms of environmental friendliness and technological equipment, it had become obsolete, requiring replacement and modernization. We practically got a new facility," added Alexander Kapshul.

Customers are offered two fuel dispensers, a retail area, and a coffee zone. The gas station is designed for 375 refuelings per day, with a planned petroleum product sales volume of 2.5 thousand tons per year. The facility was built by the limited liability company "BMSU-4" (Minsk).

Deputy Director of the enterprise, Yuri Papkovsky, noted that the facility is technological and energy-efficient. "We build all over Belarus and always involve the local population in our work. This time, about 20 local residents worked alongside our specialists. It is also noteworthy that about 10 of them found permanent employment with us and now work with us in various regions of Belarus," said Yuri Papkovsky. The reconstruction of the gas station in Ezerishche began in September last year. Investments amounted to Br24.7 billion (undernominated).
