A water iron removal station was solemnly opened in the urban settlement of Voropayevo, Postavy district

Everyone loves gifts. Especially when they receive something they have long dreamed of but could not afford themselves. The residents of Voropayevo received such a desired gift from the state on the eve of the New Year. Almost on the eve of the holiday, a deironing station and almost 7 km of water supply networks were commissioned in the urban settlement.

As noted at the event by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, the residents of Voropayevo received the most modern station, which is not yet available in our region. The purification technology in it is unique, which will allow the population to have practically crystal clear water.

Many townspeople came to the solemn ceremony of cutting the symbolic ribbon and commissioning the station. Almost 1300 people, which is half of the residents of Voropayevo, use tap water for their livelihoods. And it used to often disappoint with its quality.

The old station and water supply networks no longer ensured the desired purity. All hope of the townspeople was placed on the "Clean Water" subprogram of the State Program "Comfortable Housing and a Favorable Environment" for 2016–2020. And it came true. Using funds from the republican and regional budgets, as well as the own funds of UP "Vitebskoblvodo canal", the station was built and half of the water supply network pipes were replaced, the length of which in the urban settlement is 14.4 km. The total cost of the work amounted to 1242.1 thousand rubles.

In the near future, emphasized the Chairman of the Postavy District Executive Committee, Sergey Chepik, the number of houses that will receive clean water will increase. The local authorities plan to connect the section that supplies water to the railway station area into a common network.
