A representative office of OJSC "Orsha Linen Mill" has appeared in the Kemerovo region.

The new structural unit will be engaged in wholesale and retail trade of linen fabrics and finished textile products of the Orsha Linen Mill. The opening of the Siberian representative office took place within the framework of the Program for the Development of Cooperation between the Kemerovo Region and the Republic of Belarus for 2014-2015. A working meeting has already been held to discuss issues of school uniform production from Belarusian material. Establishing direct sales channels will help reduce the final price of the uniform for Kuzbass consumers (by eliminating intermediaries from the trade and production chain) and will help preserve the health of students by providing them with clothing that meets all sanitary standards.

The administration of the Kemerovo region emphasized that the uninterrupted supply of inexpensive and high-quality raw materials to the seamstresses of Kuzbass is particularly important in the absence of its own textile mills in the region.

In addition, the department of industry of the regional administration, together with the concern "Bellegprom" is currently working on the issue of establishing representative offices of other Belarusian manufacturers of fabrics, yarn, and finished products in Kuzbass in the near future.
