At the end of summer, visiting forests in the Vitebsk region is prohibited

The State Forest Guard of Vitebsk State Production Forestry Association reminds that from August 23 of the current year, a ban on visiting forests has been introduced in the region. The State Forest Guard has switched to an enhanced duty regime. The reason for this was the heat established at the end of August. Taking this into account, we strongly urge citizens to refrain from visiting forests.

For your information, since the beginning of the year, there have been 11 forest fires in the forest fund of the association, covering a total area of 13.5 hectares.

We remind you that for violation of fire safety rules in forests, including the ban on visiting, administrative liability is established - a fine of up to 12 basic units, and in case of severe consequences for the forest fund - up to 30 basic units.
