In Lepel, two residential buildings will be commissioned by the end of the year

Two apartment buildings are planned to be commissioned in Lepel by the end of the year, where large families will also receive new housing, reported Deputy Chairman of the Lepel District Executive Committee Yevgeny Yasko.

Construction is currently underway in Lepel on Shkolnaya Street. "A 60-apartment brick building will appear there. 34 large families from the Lepel district have applied for housing in it," Yevgeny Yasko said. The new five-story building with three entrances will have 10 three-room apartments, 20 one-room apartments, and 30 two-room apartments. The building is being constructed by Lepel PMK-75. The keys to the new housing will be handed over to the new residents at the end of September.

In May, construction of a 40-apartment building on Kalinin Street will begin in Lepel - the first one with an elevator. The happy owners of the coveted meters will be able to move in on New Year's Eve. This building will also have apartments allocated for large families. "According to our calculations, there will be less than half of large families in this building. There are not many large families left on the waiting list for housing improvement. We will offer Lepel residents who are on the waiting list as needing housing improvement to purchase apartments in the new building. In the Lepel district, large families acquire new apartments through government subsidies provided for them. They also use maternity capital for these purposes," emphasized the deputy chairman of the district executive committee. He added that in 2020, 38 large families moved into a new building - a 40-apartment building on Gorky Street - and they took advantage of state support for construction.

Speaking about the construction industry of the district, Yevgeny Yasko noted that in 2020, more than 9 thousand square meters were commissioned, of which about 6.8 thousand square meters were individual housing construction.
