The second stage of the regional forum for young specialists was held in Lepel
– Young people of various professions have gathered here today. They are interested in seeing how our region is developing, communicating with specialists, and asking them pressing questions in their respective fields, – noted Vyacheslav Durnov. – Personnel policy is an important element of the activities of any organization or enterprise. Therefore, at the very beginning of one's career, it is very important to support young specialists, give them confidence in the future, and show them prospects.
Young people who recently joined the labor collectives of the northern region came to Lepel from eight districts of the Vitebsk region. Suffice it to say that 100 young people alone found work in the Lepel region. Among the young specialists is Andrey Ershov, a former graduate of the Lepel Agrarian-Technical College. The newly qualified repair fitter was assigned to the repair and mechanical plant, where he works successfully. After graduating from the Polotsk College of PSU named after P. Masherov, Alesya Bogdanovich got a job as a caregiver at Lepel kindergarten No. 2.
– I absolutely love working with children. Every day I teach my charges something new, communicate with them, and prepare morning performances. I see myself in this profession in the future, I want to develop and move forward, – shared the specialist.
These young people, like many others, were interested in exploring the exhibition organized in the foyer of the RDC, which showcased Lepel enterprises and organizations.
Before visiting some of them, the young specialists took part in a rally-requiem on Freedom Square and laid flowers at the monument to fellow countrymen who died for the freedom of their native land.
At the updated local history museum, forum participants saw new exhibits and learned about modern technologies in museum work. Representatives of MCC "Lepelka" told the guests about working conditions and support for young staff at the enterprise, as well as about the sweet products in demand by consumers, which could be tasted. At military unit 22313 in Borovka, the participants learned about the extensive work carried out by the 52nd Separate Specialized Search Battalion. For specialists with leadership qualities visiting the DRDC "Zhemchuzhina", practical psychology sessions and a delicious lunch were organized.
Then everyone gathered again at the RDC, where the dialogue platform "Successful Practices in Working with Youth" was held, with Vyacheslav Durnov and the Chairman of the Lepel District Executive Committee Mikhail Kiselevich as the main speakers.
– The personnel issue is relevant for the district. The healthcare, education, and agriculture sectors need replenishment. Mentors are assigned to newly arrived young specialists, and various preferences and financial support are provided for them, – noted Mikhail Kiselevich.
Such forums for young specialists who have come to their first workplace are held annually. According to Vyacheslav Khrol, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee, this is done to support young people, identify leaders among them, in order to promote them further and assist in the implementation of their initiatives.
