A "black digger" has been convicted in the Liezen district

In the Liozno district, a fan of excavations at the sites of battles during the Great Patriotic War has been sentenced to another prison term.

According to the Deputy Prosecutor of the district, Alexey Lapushinsky, a local resident has been sentenced to four years of imprisonment for illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition. The police discovered a whole arsenal from the war era in his house: over one and a half kilograms of TNT, grenades, a mortar shell, and 7 rifle cartridges, which are ammunition for rifled firearms. When imposing the sentence, the court took into account that the accused had already been convicted twice for similar crimes and had even served a short sentence.

Alexey Lapushinsky emphasizes that any ammunition, let alone weapons, must be handled with extreme caution. Upon discovery, one should contact the police. Otherwise, the offender will be held accountable.
