In the Liozno district, the construction of the Rubezhnitsa OJSC livestock complex has been resumed

Correspondents of "VV" visited the site together with the Deputy Chairman of the Liozno District Executive Committee, Igor Zaitsev.

 – The construction of the complex began in 2011. While funding was available, by the end of 2012, two start-up complexes were commissioned. Currently, two cow barns for 240-260 head each, a calf barn for 400, a milking and milk processing unit, silage pits, a sanitary checkpoint, a boiler room, a weigh station, an artesian well, a water tower, and an iron removal station are functioning there. Almost all utility networks have been laid. Equipment and power supply systems are being installed in the unfinished cow barn designed for 260 head of cattle. The construction of a calf barn for 480 head has begun. Earthworks have been carried out, the foundation has been laid, and equipment is being delivered and installed. From October 15, the contractor, "Vitebskobselstroy", began assembling the frame structures of the building. This is to be completed within a month, followed by the roof and floors. The entire start-up complex is planned to be completed by the end of the current year, – said Igor Leonidovich.

The allocated budget loan of 1.5 million rubles is not enough for the complete completion of the complex, but it will be sufficient to finish the cow barn, build the calf barn, and asphalt the driveways to them.

In addition to the "Vitebskobselstroy" team, local forces are also involved at the site – employees of DRSU No. 107, and equipment from the land reclamation systems enterprise. The agricultural enterprise "Rubezhnitsa" will undertake the flooring and installation of stall equipment. Since it will subsequently repay the budget loan issued for three years, it strives to reduce construction costs as much as possible.

And for the livestock complex project to be fully realized, it is necessary to build another calf barn, a hay shed, and carry out related landscaping.
