Supermoms are being chosen in Liozno

Housewives of the urban settlement of Liozno are competing in the skills of being a mother, the head of the youth department of the Liozno District Executive Committee, Tatyana Shulgan, told a BELTA correspondent. In the "I am a Mother" project, seven local residents under the age of 31 are vying for the title of the best and most experienced mother. Moreover, two women already bear the honorary title of mothers of large families, one participant is the happy mother of twins, while the others have so far only had their firstborns. The game is held in stages throughout the year in six rounds. Two of them have already passed. Thus, on Family Day, May 14, the participants presented their profiles, in which they introduced themselves, their children, and their families as a whole. Their entire entourage was involved in this important event - husbands, children, grandmothers, grandfathers, as well as support groups in the form of close relatives, friends, and colleagues. The second stage, timed to coincide with Children's Day, was held with fewer participants but with even greater interest from the local population. Creative mothers demonstrated a real master class to all drivers, skillfully maneuvering baby strollers through an obstacle course. The audience was also greatly delighted by the stroller walking race, although, for safety reasons, dolls were placed in the "racing cars" instead of children. On September 25, a slide show will be held at the district cultural center – the third stage, dedicated to the Year of the Native Land. The women will present their summer homework "I grow up on my native land." Through vivid photographs, they will introduce everyone to the successes and achievements of their children, their first steps, and sunny smiles. In preparation for the next rounds, participants will have to take courses from pediatricians and cooks. Thus, the "Children's Doctor" competition (to be held on Mother's Day) includes a creative task to present their signature recipe for any childhood ailment, as well as testing and a practical part on issues of childhood illnesses and first aid. And by November, for the "Children's Kitchen" competition, the keepers of the hearth will need to prepare a dish for their children, taking into account age-specific characteristics, and present and defend it. "Super Mom" will be named in Liozno on the eve of Catholic Christmas based on the results of the final round "Grow, baby, to your mother's joy!". In the final creative competition, through songs, dances, humorous skits, and passionate oratorical performances, participants will talk about how they dream of seeing their children in the future. Each mother will be awarded honorary prizes based on the project results, and although the title of "Super Mom" will go to only one of them, the others will definitely be recognized in various nominations, the interlocutor assured. The organizers of the event are the youth department of the Liozno District Executive Committee and the district cultural center. Events aimed at popularizing family values are constantly held in the district. Thus, earlier projects such as "Miracle Child," "Dad, Mom, I am a Friendly Family," and "Family of the Year" have already been implemented here. If they manage to assemble a team of men, then next year the fathers will take part, Tatyana Shulgan added. -0-
