Construction of the long-awaited polyclinic has begun in the Yug-7 microdistrict of Vitebsk

And while beauty is a great force, including in promoting recovery, the main thing, of course, is convenience, comfort for medical staff and patients, and modern equipment that this healthcare institution will be equipped with.
The start of construction of the new clinic has been long awaited, ever since the Yugov microdistrict was populated. Imagine the journey of a sick person to the clinic in Markovshchina, especially in crowded morning transport, and it immediately becomes clear: such "voyages" are not beneficial for either the sick or healthy passengers. District therapists also cannot be envied. The problem was partially solved with the opening of a medical outpatient clinic in the Chkalov Market area. However, only partially: after all, residents of the microdistrict still get fluorography, electrocardiograms, and tests done at the clinic on M. Gorky Street. All narrow specialists also work there. For those registered with clinic No. 3 on Moskovsky Prospekt, getting to the doctor is slightly easier, but with the commissioning of the Bilevo microdistrict, the healthcare institution requires relief. Therefore, it is not surprising with what impatience the residents of the Yug-7, Yug-7a, and Medtsentr microdistricts are watching the construction of the facility. City authorities are also closely monitoring the construction of the facility.
— I visit the construction site almost every day, — says the Chairman of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies, Nikolai Smunev, who is in charge of overseeing the construction of the clinic. – Work is proceeding according to schedule, the builders have overcome the zero level, and the building is slowly beginning to take on its architectural contours.
The General Director of OAO "Stroitelny Trest No. 9, Vitebsk," Valentin Kozichkin, in turn, states that with adequate funding, the builders will not let down. And the budget filling depends on the work of the enterprises that fill it. This facility is also under the close attention of the Head of the Healthcare Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Yuri Derkach.
— It is important to note that the commissioning of the new polyclinic will make it possible to redistribute the flow of people in need of medical care in such a way that it will be as convenient as possible for them to get to the healthcare institution, — said Yuri Nikolaevich. — The polyclinic and the women's consultation will be located under one roof. And new equipment will reduce diagnostic times and allow for faster prescription of quality treatment.
In general, the development of healthcare and the improvement of the demographic situation are given great attention by the regional leadership, especially in new microdistricts where young families mainly live. The construction of a medical complex in Bilevo is next.
