Minsk has started accepting applications for participation in the "Innovation Ideas Fair-2015"

In order to promote the implementation of scientific and technical developments in production and the development of market relations in the innovation sphere, the Minsk City Executive Committee, together with Minsk City Technopark LLC and the Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers named after Professor M.S. Kunyavsky, are holding the Fair of Innovative Ideas for the fifth time.

The main task of the Fair is the implementation (commercialization) of innovative ideas (projects) by representatives of owners, developers, and authors of innovations.

The Fair program includes interactive presentations of innovations, their study by potential buyers, discussion of innovations with negotiations with potential buyers, and resolution of their implementation issues. The motto of the fair is - "Towards Development - Through Innovation". This year, a separate nomination will be accepted for: best youth projects.

Applications for participation in the Fair of Innovative Ideas 2015 are accepted until 01.12.2015.

For reference:
Participant selection is carried out by the fair's organizing committee based on the review of preliminary applications. The organizing committee considers applications that contain proposals with commercial potential.
The following evaluation criteria are provided:

implementability of the innovation (main consumers, stages, deadlines, and costs);

availability of obtained or applied for patents (list, when and in which country issued), as well as technologies similar in form or function;

stage of innovation development: R&D, prototype creation (physical sample);

availability of advantages compared to domestic and foreign counterparts;

availability of financial and economic justification;

prospects for market implementation, including in foreign markets.

By 10.12.2015, the organizing committee, with the participation of experts, will select applications and form the final list of fair participants.

The fair will be held on 11.12.2015 at the premises of the Minsk City Hall. The costs of renting the premises of the Minsk City Hall will be compensated from the funds of the city program for supporting small entrepreneurship.
