The Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia is taking place in Minsk

The main goal of the third forum remains unchanged – the expansion of Belarusian-Russian regional cooperation and the promotion of direct contacts between enterprises and organizations in the socio-economic, scientific and educational, cultural and humanitarian, and other spheres.

Vitebsk region has also actively joined this work. As reported in the economics committee of the regional executive committee, a number of contracts were signed in May between enterprises of the Dvina region and regions of Russia, including with companies from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Ulyanovsk, Tomsk, the Republic of Dagestan, and the Republic of Buryatia.

In particular, new partners have appeared for OJSC "Znamya Industrializatsii", Vitebsk Radio Components Plant "Monolit", private enterprise "Vitstroytekmash", KUPP "Vitebchanka", "Vitba" Confectionery Factory, as well as enterprises of the Vitebsk Concern "Meat and Dairy Products". Directly within the framework of the forum, it is planned to sign contracts between RUPTP "Orsha Linen Mill" and OOO "Textile Pro" (Moscow), SOOO "LLK-Naftan" and OOO "Sintek" (Obninsk, Kaluga region), OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory" and OOO "Nurlan" (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug), and a number of others. In total, 15 exporting enterprises of the Dvina region intend to establish new contacts with Russian partners, and therefore, expand their presence in the market of the neighboring state.
