In Moscow, the Vitebsk enterprise "Vitstroytekmash" presented a prototype of an aerial platform for the first time
The new VIPO-32 truck-mounted aerial platform features a maximum lifting height of 32 meters. No one else in Belarus manufactures similar equipment. It has primarily attracted the attention of representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, as it can be a valuable asset in firefighting operations.
Guests of the 14th International Specialized Exhibition "Construction Equipment and Technologies-2013" were the first to familiarize themselves with the features of the truck-mounted aerial platform. The exhibition brought together leading manufacturers of the mechanical engineering industry from 40 countries in Moscow. Vitebsk region was represented at the large-scale forum among 1036 companies, including HITACHI, VOLVO, LIEBHERR, KAMAZ, and Klinskoye Crane Plant, by UP "Vitstroytehmash". Over five days, the exhibition was visited by almost 40,000 people.
The VIPO-12 also impressed visitors. Representatives of housing and communal services, forestry, and energy sectors from practically all regions of Russia showed interest in this model. Broad prospects opened up for the manufacturer: preliminary agreements on cooperation with colleagues from Italy, Romania, and Germany were reached.
As noted by the Director of UP "Vitstroytehmash", Andrey Sidorov, the exhibition proved useful not only for establishing new business contacts but also for exchanging experience and developing ideas. For example, Andrey Alexandrovich is considering organizing a new production line for manipulator cranes, which are practically absent from the mechanical engineering market, including in Belarus. This will be a step towards import substitution that will benefit our utility workers and builders. As for the VIPO-32, it will be launched into serial production by the end of the current year after undergoing testing. In the future, it may also be used for equipping the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus.
Currently, "Vitstroytehmash" equipment is sold in our country and successfully exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia, and other CIS countries. Negotiations are underway to organize joint assembly of machines in Latvia with the aim of promoting Vitebsk truck-mounted aerial platforms in the European market.
