The new development program of Belarus lays the foundation for strengthening the social sphere - a participant of the People's Assembly
November 30, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The draft program for the development of Belarus for 2011-2015 lays the foundation for further strengthening of social policy and the development of the sphere of culture. This opinion was expressed to a BELTA correspondent by Larisa Olenskaya, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Chairperson of the regional organization of the Belarusian Women's Union, and a participant in the IV All-Belarusian People's Congress.
According to her, the economic component provides opportunities for the development of the socio-cultural sphere in any state. The program for the development of Belarus for the next five-year period pays great attention to the development of the real sector of the economy. "It is important that the emphasis is placed on innovation and investment. At the same time, the platform for achieving the set goals was created in previous years, when even during the period of overcoming the consequences of the global economic crisis, we managed to maintain a stable position. Thus, all prerequisites for further development of the social complex have been created," the interlocutor is confident.
Larisa Olenskaya noted the significance of the fact that the provision concerning social policy and the development of human potential begins with the section on demography. "The health of people, women, children, and increasing the birth rate is the main priority of the entire program. This position is characteristic only of a state with stable economic processes," she emphasized.
"The All-Belarusian People's Congress is a landmark event in the life of the state and every Belarusian, as it will determine not only the future steps of the entire state but also summarize the results of the work already done," said the Deputy Head of the Department of Culture of the Regional Executive Committee. In her opinion, people see and support all the positive processes that are happening today in Belarus, political and economic stability, and the state's work to strengthen the institution of the family, protect the rights and interests of orphans, and children raised in dysfunctional families has found active support in society. "Therefore, our task is to consolidate our efforts and work together for results further," stated Larisa Olenskaya. -0-
