Halal-certified products will be produced in the new workshop of the Orsha Meat Canning Plant

В новом цехе Оршанского мясоконсервного комбината будут производить продукцию по стандарту Халяль
The Orsha Meat Canning Plant is completing the implementation of a large-scale project within the framework of Decree No. 506 "On the Development of the Orsha District of the Vitebsk Region".

By July of this year, it is planned to start commissioning works in the new slaughter and processing shop for pigs and cattle.

Currently, equipment installation and external finishing works are in full swing here.

The new shop of the OMPP is of strategic importance for the development of the district. In fact, it is two mini-plants at once, where the input is cattle and pigs, and the output is finished semi-finished products. The enterprise will be the first in our country to have completely separated raw material flows – from separate slaughter of pigs and cattle to separate refrigerators, deboning areas, and vehicle access. The production will comply with all international standards for the safety, quality, and preservation of meat products, as well as their packaging. This will allow us to expand sales markets – to sell products to China, some Arab and other countries.

– The shop was designed taking into account that we will produce products according to the Halal standard, – said the shop manager Victoria Timoshchenko. – The design capacity is 640 pigs and 240 cattle per shift. Moreover, the slaughter of cattle and pigs is planned for different days. About 200 people will be employed in the new shop, who will undergo training on new state-of-the-art equipment, which has no analogues in our country yet.

The shop is built in compliance with new requirements and international quality standards.
