In the current festival season, "Mister University" was held for the first time at VSTU
Generous, devoted, reliable, responsible, purposeful, brave, honest, strong, kind, generous, enterprising – all this describes him, a Man. An active life position, intelligence, a sense of humor are also desirable… stop. One can dream of an ideal endlessly, but finding it is much more difficult. By the way, why is it that in a technological university, where there are very few girls in some faculties, beauty contests are a tradition, but knightly tournaments are not held? Discrimination? That's in the past.
“Mr. University” was a huge success, although at first, according to the chairman of the jury, the director of the student fashion house Ekaterina Petkevich, even the organizers did not expect it. So much depended on the enthusiasm of the participants, because such a tournament is always the result of joint creativity. At the general rehearsal, director Alexander Krivosheev and choreographer Ilya Shunin felt on the verge of failure: “cancel everything urgently, the client is dying.” They took a risk. They didn't cancel. And they didn't lose out: the competition was a success not even 100, but a full 150 percent.
… Fashion show… what guys came out on the catwalk to fanfares! A sea of charm, predatory grace, fluid plasticity of movements, strength, and masculine beauty.

And what the guys created on stage! The action unfolded rapidly and dynamically, like the plot of an adventure film. The episode with confessions of love was particularly impressive. If all men are masters by definition in this matter, then the technology students, it seems, are masters of the highest class. Poems of their own composition, witty interludes sparkling with humor, high-tech video passages – the female audience had every reason to lose their heads and forget about everything in the world. The girls from VSTU can be envied – they are lucky to study alongside such talented and handsome young men! In my opinion, everyone deserved the highest marks, but alas, the jury did not agree with this and meticulously and pedantically counted the points until the last moments of the competition performances. However, the verdict did not cause disputes even among the most devoted fans, which means there is no reason to doubt its fairness: "Mister University" – Ruslan Semenkov, "First Vice-Mister" – Evgeny Pavlyuchenko, "Second Vice-Mister" – Andrey Surinov.
By the way, similar competitions are now held in all universities. Isn't it time to move to the regional level?
