Seven athletes from the Vitebsk region will participate in the Sochi Olympics

The National Olympic Committee of our country has approved the composition of the Belarusian delegation for the XXII Winter Olympic Games. It is gratifying that out of 26 athletes who will compete for medals in Sochi, seven are directly associated with the Vitebsk region. These are biathletes – Anastasia Duboreza, a native of Horadok, and Yevgeny Abramenko from Vitebsk; skiers – Alexey Ivanov, a native of Vitebsk, and Elena Sannikova and Ekaterina Rudakova from Novopolotsk; short-track speed skating representatives – Maxim Sergeev from the regional center and Olga Talaeva from Orsha. We are expecting medals!
