A canteen has been opened at the Orsha Agricultural College after renovation
This significant event coincided with the anniversary of the "Our Children" campaign, which has been launched in Belarus for the 25th time.
The opening of the updated facility in the Orsha district was attended by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev, Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Viktor Kolochov, Head of the Main Department for Education of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Dmitry Khoma, and Deputy Head of the Main Department for Education of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Marina Babashinskaya.
The guests cut the symbolic red ribbon and familiarized themselves with the conditions created for children's meals and the work of the kitchen staff.
– Today, much is being done in the Vitebsk region to improve the material and technical base of secondary and vocational education institutions, – noted Vladimir Terentyev. – More than 1 million 300 thousand Belarusian rubles have been spent on the renovation of the canteen at the agricultural college in the village of Vysokoye, where 500 young men and women are currently studying. We carried out thermal renovation of the building and interior work, replaced engineering networks and the roof.
The canteen building has also significantly transformed externally.
According to Vladimir Vladimirovich, the opening of the canteen after renovation is a very important and necessary gift for all children studying at the college. Now it will be pleasant not only for the students to eat here, but also convenient for the cooks to prepare food.
