Orsha College of Mechanics and Economics Opens Specialties for Modernizing Plants

New specialties are being opened at the Orsha Mechanical-Economic College to meet the needs of modernizing factories. This was announced today to journalists by the Minister of Education Igor Karpovich.

In the Orsha district, the modernization of the tool factory and machine-building enterprises is beginning. Together with the interested departments, the Ministry of Education is analyzing which specialists will be needed by the updated industry.

"This year, a group is being recruited at the Orsha Mechanical-Economic College for the specialty 'CNC machine operator', and from next year - we are opening a new specialty for CNC setup technicians. Thus, the modernized factories will be provided with personnel," Igor Karpovich gave an example.

He emphasized that the customer of personnel will actively influence the training programs and practices, taking into account the requirements of specific enterprises and organizations. The necessary norms for this are being laid down at the legislative level.
