In the Orsha district, 30 new production facilities have been launched since the beginning of the year
"116 organizations and individual entrepreneurs have become subjects of the Orsha district. 30 new enterprises have started their activities," the head of the district emphasized. In particular, the production of frozen fruits and vegetables has been launched at the "Teplichny" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo". "Mark Formel" LLC is expanding production in acquired areas.
In total, Br100 million of investments were attracted to the district's fixed capital in January-May. Industrial production amounted to 104.4% compared to the same period last year, agricultural production - 104%. "As a result of the measures taken, the financial condition of the district has improved. In January-April, revenue from sales of products increased by 15%, net profit - by 4.8 times," Igor Isachenko added.
In general, out of the 5 target indicators for the comprehensive development of the Orsha district, defined by the development program, three are being fulfilled: revenue per employee, growth rate of own revenues, and the task for wage growth. Touching upon problematic issues, Igor Isachenko noted the insufficient progress in the implementation of projects for equipping the production of the Orsha Tool Plant with machine tools, launching a ring rolling production for BelAZ at the "PAK" plant, and constructing a slaughterhouse at the Orsha Meat Canning Plant.
