The regional tourist gathering of working youth began with a mass exercise session, setting a vigorous tone for the entire event in the Orsha district.
At the opening of the tourist gathering, the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Vyacheslav Durnov, wished the participants of the sports forum victory, and emphasized that the most important aspect of such events is strengthening friendship.

Together with the Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee, Marina Novitskaya, and the Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Mikhno, Vyacheslav Durnov visited the tent camp and familiarized himself with the living conditions of the participants. They inspected the accommodation, infrastructure, and communicated with the tourists, noting the good organization of daily life and preparation for the event.
- Sports events, such as sportlands and tourist gatherings for working youth, are in demand. By participating in them, young people demonstrate their strength and agility. Last night it rained, and the participants of the gathering had to endure difficult conditions. This hardens their spirit and endurance, - noted Marina Novitskaya. - The number of participants in the regional tourist gathering is increasing every year, which shows its popularity. Each district has well-organized and stylistically decorated camps, and the daily routine and safety regulations are observed. The participants demonstrated this during the defense of the camp's living conditions.
The tourist gathering will last for several days, during which the teams will compete in orienteering, obstacle course completion, and other disciplines.
