In Orsha, a repeat exhibitionist was jailed

The Orsha District Court held a closed hearing on a criminal case against a 32-year-old man accused of lewd acts against a minor. The victim is a ten-year-old girl.

The criminal incident came as a complete surprise to the accused's family and friends. He is married and has his own child. The young man had previously been convicted of similar acts. However, at that time, they were classified as hooliganism. He got away with a simple fine.

Now he will have to go to jail for 1 year and 1 month and pay 15 million rubles in moral damages. The thrill-seeker was handcuffed right in the courtroom.

Alexey Korsakov, Deputy Prosecutor of the Orsha District, states:

– The accused was crying and kneeling before the mother of the victim girl. He cited illness and the inability to control his actions. During the investigation, he had already undergone medical treatment. He claimed that he could not overcome his vice alone before. Now, he said, it will be easier to do so – he is supported by doctors, his wife, and his parents.

The parents, by the way, are very respectable people; they were shocked by what happened. The father repeatedly felt unwell in the courtroom, saying that he had done everything possible to raise his son as a real man.

The pervert, who derived sexual satisfaction from exposing his genitals, was detained several months ago. A woman reported to the police that a stranger had lured her daughter aside on the street under a false pretext and asked her to watch his bicycle. That's where he exposed himself. The frightened child ran away.

The "exhibitionist" was found with the help of video footage from a camera at a nearby grocery store. One of the city residents recognized his acquaintance in the photo – he was told that the guy was being sought in connection with a traffic accident. Thus, the secret became known.

The accused tried to convince the judge that the encounter with the child was a pure coincidence. He claimed he wanted to meet an adult woman but couldn't find a suitable candidate. However, his previous crime casts doubt on the veracity of this version.

Several years ago, a resident of Orsha was detained on a diesel train. A mother and daughter were sitting opposite him. Unnoticed by the adult fellow traveler, he also exposed himself to the child from under his coat. The frightened schoolgirl told her mother about the strange man as they were leaving the carriage. The mother returned to the train. Not alone – with the police.
