In Orsha, a bridge over the Dnieper will be opened after reconstruction

Traffic across the Dnieper River bridge on Bobkov Street in Orsha will open on May 9. This will be another gift to the residents of the Orsha region, as the bridge, over 200 meters long, connects two large districts – Zadneprovye and Lnokombinat.

All necessary work on strengthening vertical and horizontal structures, installing lighting, and replacing the road surface is being completed, and landscaping of the pedestrian area and adjacent territory is in full swing. Test traffic on the facility, which has been under reconstruction since November 2013, will begin in the coming days, which will help relieve Orsha's transport routes by approximately 40%. Local authorities plan to fully commission the bridge by the Independence Day celebration.
