An artifact of the 12th century - the seal of Saint Euphrosyne - will be presented in Polotsk

An artifact from the 12th century – the official seal of Euphrosyne of Polotsk – will be presented in Polotsk.

The unique find will be exhibited from June 4 to 7 in the exposition "Wall Paintings of the 12th-19th Centuries of the Savior Transfiguration Church" at the Art Gallery of the National Polotsk Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve (Streltsyetskaya Street, 4a-4).

The seal was found during research on the foundations of the Savior Transfiguration Church of the Savior-Euphrosyne Monastery, reports the museum-reserve's website.
