The shooting championship of the Belarusian border guard authorities with service weapons has concluded in Polotsk.

В Полоцке завершился чемпионат органов пограничной службы Беларуси по стрельбе из табельного оружия.

The competition was held at the military shooting range of the Polotsk Border Guard Detachment in the village of Farinovo. 14 teams representing all units of the border guard service of the republic took part in it. The competition included exercises for men and women in shooting from a Makarov pistol and a Kalashnikov assault rifle from various positions. The jury assessed the accuracy in performing tasks both in a calm mode and under time constraints.

According to Denis Glebko, Assistant Head of the Polotsk Border Guard Detachment for Media Relations, the Pridvinye team took second place in the subgroup of units directly guarding the state border. In the individual standings, Yuri Efremenko showed a good result, becoming second among the heads of physical training and sports.
